The new
church family album is in the office!
If you sat for your photo in December,
you may retrieve your copy of
the album directory in the church office:
Monday –Thursday from
8:30a-4:30p, Friday from 8-Noon.
We have a limited supply so for those who
were unable to participate
in the family album there is a new printed
directory in the narthex.
Look
for the green cover!
DONATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED for LPC's annual rummage sale, July 18-19.
Call Nancy Guerry or Brenda Sommerfield to arrange for storage of furniture and
other large or voluminous items.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES are offered on Tuesdays at 10:00AM (women) and
Wednesdays at 9:00AM (men), led by Dr. McCreight. We are currently
studying Romans.
CHOIR REHEARSALS: Thursdays at 7:00PM.

HAND BELL REHEARSALS are held Tuesdays at 1:30PM in the Sanctuary under the leadership of Bev Stuart.
The workshop group for those not already involved but interested in playing the handbells is scheduled from 3:30-5:00PM. Hand bell ringers and/or chimes will participate in worship services at least
once per month.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS enable the office and ministers to keep members
informed of special events, needs and other items of immediate interest, soon to
include electronic distribution of The Light. If you are not
presently on our email distribution list, please inform the church office of
your email address. Your email address will not be shared with
anyone outside the church.
HOME HEALTH CARE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT is available for those in need through
our Medical Lending Closet program. A group of LPC men voluntarily monitor
the equipment and maintain liaison with the public through the church office.
Our inventory includes a wheelchair, walker, cane, crutches, bedside commode,
raised commode, shower chair and tub bench. Anyone needing this type of
equipment may call the church office - and, anyone interested in helping with
this ministry should contact Jim Maloney.
SUPPORT OUR YOUTH MINISTRY by bringing your newspapers to the
recycling bin located outside the Fellowship Hall.
FOOD BASKETS are available in the Narthex for donated non-perishable
food items. These items are collected on an ongoing basis for distribution
to area food banks, which are experiencing continued shortages.
OUR STEPHEN MINISTERS are here to meet the needs of people who are terminally
ill, have lost a spouse or other loved one, are experiencing divorce, are in a
job crisis situation or burdened by any other variety of overwhelming
circumstances. They are: Jack Alexander, Millie Bloom, Fran Dolan, Harold and Nancy Guerry, Alida Jagt, Lewis and Lois
Johnson, Bevery Lockwood, Marny Sheldon, David and Carol Simpson, Beverly Pratt,
Bob and Lee Robbins and John Swain. Assisting the pastors in guiding this
ministry are leaders George Bartels, Connie Bird, Harold and Nancy Guerry and Barbara Kramer.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each
month, from 2:30-4:00PM, in the Parlor. The moderator is Renee Pigat, from Hospice
Care of the Lowcountry.
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY BULLETINS are requested to be delivered
to the office not later than noon on the preceding Tuesday; special inserts
are requested by noon, Monday. They may be hand-delivered, e-mailed to
lpcoffice@hargray.com or faxed to
815-4165.
PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED on changes to mailing addresses, phone
numbers, e-mail and other matters by mailing, faxing or e-mailing
information to the office.

YOUTH MINISTRIES
|
JUNIOR CHURCH is offered for children ages three through 5th
grade
during the 10:30 service. Children of this age group are invited to follow
the Junior Church Leader out of the sanctuary following the Children's
Sermon (Time for Little Disciples). For older children, worship
activity sheets are available upon request from an usher. Also, we
need volunteers to assist the teachers in Junior Church.
Please call the church office if you can help. (Junior Church resumes in the
fall.)
