Join us for a 6-week video study on The Sermon on the Mount with materials from New Testament scholar, Dr. Amy Jill Levine! This class began on October 21st and meets on Wednesday's at 4pm. This is being co-led by Revs. Herrin and Dion. You are welcome to join anytime.

Written by world-renowned Old Testament scholar Walter Brueggemann, this four-session study takes a critical look at the four royal titles used in Isaiah 9:2-7: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Participants will be challenged to learn how the people understood those titles during Jesus' time and discuss how Jesus did or did not fulfill the titles. They will also reflect on how Christians interpret Jesus as representing that title.

This class will be Wednesday's at 4pm & 7pm via Zoom and is led by Rev. Dion. This study begins December 2nd.

In this study structured around the four candles of the Advent wreath, we will focus on what endures; gifts of hope, love, joy and peace.  

Deadline to sign up is November 18th. 

Books are $10 each. 

The class will find a 4th time to meet earlier than 12/24. Covid protocols will be observed and space is limited.

This class will meet on Thursday's at 2pm and 6:30pm at LPC led by Rev. Herrin. This study begins December 3rd.
