Adult Faith Formation
Members and visitors alike are welcome to join any of our education classes. We offer small groups, book studies, short term Bible studies, and longer term studies. Right now, we are offering classes in-person.
Adult Sunday School
Our regular classes will take a break for the summer and reconvene in September.
S.T.E.P.S. – Studying + teaching + Equipping + praying + Serving. This presbytery-wide event is a wonderful opportunity for church members to enrich their faith and understanding of the church. S.T.E.P.S. will take place on Saturday, August 24th. There will be 2 workshop sessions with worship in between. Early registration ends on July 22nd. LPC has had as many as a dozen or more attend each year.
Brochures listing the offerings along with registration information are in the Narthex. You may also access this information on the Presbytery website, capresbytery.org, where you must register by August 12th. The group will have lunch together afterwards, elsewhere. After registering, please sign up on the board in the narthex and indicate if you wish to carpool. Any questions contact Elaine Branda at hhgolfer@gmail.com.
Women of Faith,
Women's Discussion Small Group
LPC’s Women of Faith have enjoyed learning more about our ancient sisters in scripture while gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationship with God in our study of “Bad Girls of the Bible” by Liz Curtis Higgs.
Following our May 14th discussion, Women of Faith will take a break for the summer months and reconvene in September. Watch for information about the next book in the bulletin and upcoming issues of The Light.
Men of Purpose,
Men's Discussion Small Group
MOP will meet Saturday mornings at 9 am through May 11th and reconvene in September.
