All are welcome.
Members and visitors alike are welcome to join any of our education classes. We offer small groups, book studies, short term Bible studies, and longer term studies. Right now, we are offering most classes via Zoom but we have some in-person opportunities to engage.
Chris' Book Club
All are welcome to join Chris’ BOOK CLUB for a 3 week discussion of More Than Enough Living Abundantly in a Culture of Excess by Lee Hull Moses. From an on-line summary: “How do we live in a way that honors God and shows gratitude for the good life we are living in the midst of a world full of pain and brokenness?” With a blend of practical reflection and insight on topics from guilt to delight, More than Enough goes beyond a call to gratitude and generosity and invites the reader to a new way of life, one that is grounded in the hope and grace of God.” The group will meet in-person from 6:30 to 7:45pm Thursday evenings, June 17th, 24th and July 1st. Participants should attend at least two of the three to make it worthwhile. Discussions each week will focus on the assigned reading which will be approximately 40 pages per week.
Contact Christy at the office, firstname.lastname@example.org or 843-815-6570 to sign up by the end of the day Monday, June 7th if you need the church to order a book, otherwise let us know by June 11th so you know what to read! Books are available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble etc. and is available on Kindle.
