There are countless opportunities to serve our Lord at LPC, such as:

serving on the Session as ordained Elders;

singing in the Choir or Playing Bells;

teaching the adult Bible classes and Sunday School;

assisting in worship as ushers, liturgists or sound operators;

Livestream Team
Have you ever taken a picture on your cell phone? If so, you are perfectly qualified to join the livestream team as a camera operator or switcher! The commitment is only one Sunday each month with support provided every step of the way. It is vital to maintain this important ministry to reach the homes of those not able to worship in person due to health, distance, or other factors. Eager to help out or need more information? Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity
Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity has many volunteer opportunities. LPC member can help at Habitat’s ReStore, its Wood Shop, in the office, at special events, or serve on one of the five standing committees (Construction, Family Engagement, Finance, Land Acquisition, and Special Events). Volunteers also can provide lunch for workers at one of the construction sites. Finally, LPC members can work on one of the construction sites. Habitat currently is repairing and restoring homes in Brendan Woods, an established Habitat neighborhood in Bluffton. Later this month they expect to start construction of a new home in Estill. In the fall, they will begin construction of 3 new homes on Bees Creek Road in Ridgeland.

Caring Meal Ministry
The Congregational Care Ministry is seeking volunteers for their Caring Meals Ministry. Members provide a meal as needed in the event of surgery, hospitalization, prolonged illness, or passing of a loved one. Volunteers would be asked to provide an occasional meal when needed. Bluffton Community Soup Kitchen
Bluffton Community Soup Kitchen is looking for volunteers to work in one or more of their programs: Hot Meals to go, Outdoor Pantry, Ida's Closet and School House.

Prior to volunteering, you must attend a one hour orientation arranged with Candyce on a Friday morning at 25 Boundary Street These are wonderful opportunities to serve.
Memory Matters
Memory Matters, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that provides compassionate services for those experiencing cognitive decline, has numerous volunteer opportunities for LPC members. As a volunteer you will work alongside dedicated teams of individuals. Whether you are interested in working in one of their day programs or in community outreach, they have a variety of volunteer opportunities available that are designed to match skills, interests, and availability.
Volunteer orientation sessions are held at their Hilton Head location on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. See their website for more info (www.mymemorymatters.org).
Children's Faith Formation Ministry
Our children are growing, and our
children’s ministry must grow too! We need a ministry team focused solely on their faith formation: to oversee the existing programs and create new opportunities.

Volunteers in Medicine
Volunteers in Medicine located at 29 Plantation Park Drive, Bldg, 600 in Bluffton. On the third Thursday of each month from 3-4 pm an Orientation Meeting is held where you can learn first-hand about their volunteer opportunities. Volunteer jobs may include helping with fundraising, assisting in the office making appointments and scanning records. In addition there are 2 paid positions available at this time: a Resource Development person and a nurse (4 days per week).
